The Story of Charlotte’s Web (CBD)
Charlotte’s Web isn’t just the name of a popular children’s novel and film – it also happens to be the name of one of the most popular Cannabis extracts on the market.
But the extract isn’t named after the book. It’s actually named after a 5 year old girl called Charlotte Figi, who used the extract to treat her frequent seizures caused by her Dravet Syndrome.
The Stanley brothers in Colorado created the high-CBD, low-THC strain, and the successes that users have reported with combatting various ailments with Charlotte’s Web has led to a revolutionary change in medical marijuana laws across the country.
Charlotte’s Web was originally called “Hippie’s Disappointment” due to its extremely low concentration of THC.
